Harborlight Montessori School was founded in 1973 and remains a close-knit, independent, co-educational day school located in historic Beverly, Massachusetts. Harborlight Montessori School focuses on providing academic excellence, the opportunity for independence, and the foundation for life-long humanitarianism to each of its students. By fostering a love of learning, inspiring creativity and self-motivation, and creating the most respectful of environments, Harborlight aims to maximize the potential of each individual child.
Harborlight continues to provide students with an unrestricted curriculum and graduates them with the ability to adapt to change, to face new challenges, to think creatively, and to have a life long respect for all humanity. There is no greater gift that we can pass on to our children than an education as a solid foundation and a love for learning without the fear of failure.
The Power of Play - A Montessori Toddler Playgroup
Play to learn, Experience the truly remarkable capabilities of your toddler! Come join a "Mommy and Me" (or "Daddy and Me") playgroup at Harborlight Montessori School. The playgroup meets Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 am. The winter schedule is as follows:
- February 27th - "What Little Hands Can Do" for toddlers
- February 27th - "Baby Play" explore language, motor, music & early learning activities for babies' growing minds
- March 6th - "Freedom to Move" for toddlers
- March 13th - "Development of Language & Little Music Lovers" for toddlers
- March 20th - "Social Play with Toddlers"
