School-age children are welcomed to the classroom and are paired with a Harborlight Student Ambassador. Children applying to first grade will spend a half-day in one of the lower elementary classrooms, participate in the daily work period lesson appropriate to their age and level, and complete a pre-admissions test with one of the Lower Elementary Teachers. All second through eighth grade applicants will spend a full day in the classroom. During this visit, the student will participate in the daily academic lessons and routines appropriate to their age and level and complete a pre-admission test.
